EVENT DESCRIPTION:
BEST Plus 2.0 Administrator Training is the initial training that is necessary to be certified to give the BEST Plus 2.0 Assessment. Once certified with BEST Plus 2.0 Administrators Assessment Training, you will be required to take the BEST Plus 2.0 Refresher Assessment Training every year thereafter.
The Best Plus 2.0 Administrator Assessment Training is developed by the Center for Applied Linguistics (CAL).  This is an individually administered in-person, face-to-face scripted oral interview designed to assess the English language proficiency of adult English learners.  The BEST Plus 2.0 Assessment is intended to assess interpersonal communication using everyday language, integrating current knowledge in the assessment of speaking and listening skills with the latest knowledge and practice in educational measurements to present a precise, updated, and flexible oral assessment. 

BEST Plus 2.0 Administrator Training is 6 credit hours that will count toward the required 14 hours of professional development under ACCES-AEPP contracts and grants
